Several other beautiful places do not find a place on this list. However, that does not take anything away from them. For you to be able to explore the landmark places better, always carry the United States Scratch Off Map with you. Every place in California is wonderful, with each having its own set of charms. This makes it a city you should definitely have on your to-visit place.

12. Eatcation in Costa Mesa

The heart of Southern California is Orange County, and Costa Mesa, the City of the Arts and the Mecca for arts and theater, is tucked away in Orange County. Costa Mesa boasts loads of high-end shopping and restaurants. Costa Mesa makes a perfect destination for an Eatcation, allowing visitors to experience a multitude of cultural dining choices. For the beach lover, some of Southern California's best beaches are just a short distance away.

Six distinct neighborhoods make up Costa Mesa: Eastside, Westside, SoBeCa District, Central, South Coast Metro, and Mesa Verde. Eastside is known for its culinary innovations and is home to Hi-Time Wine Cellars. Westside is the former industrial area for the city and has undergone a transformation into an area bursting with restaurants, art studios, and other small businesses.

The SoBeCa District is home to The LAB, a shopping center for creatives and small business. You'll also find lots of exciting restaurants sprinkled throughout SoBeCa. Central District is all about fun! Here you'll find events year-round, including concerts and the OC Fair. South Coast Metro is ground zero for the arts, with Broadway shows, the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and more.

Epic Wings (formally known as wings n things) is a whole new level of flavor. While their menu lacks diversity, they make up with power hitting flavor in their buffalo sauce that is mouth watering, garlicky and will make you cough if you get a whiff from its vinegar aroma. Not to mention that their breadsticks are so much better than that of Olive Garden.

Mesa Verde is a home decorators paradise with a large variety of cutting-edge home furnishing shops and interior decor businesses. It's also home to the OC MIX, a wildly popular food hall. Go straight to any small Mexican restaurant that ends with ertos. From Albertos to Rigobertos. Go there and get the California burrito. Instead of rice, you get french fries in the tortilla wrapped goodness with tons of meat and guacamole and sour creme.

If you have a bit of spare change, then a California burrito, a grilled steak burrito with cheese and fries is the best bang for your buck. Some dining halls even have these and occasionally people make that one burrito their only meal of the day. Mission burritos are a different beast from their SoCal counterparts, but still are hearty enough that sometimes a single one can be lunch and dinner for a day.

Mission style burritos consist of rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole and a host of veggie elements, from avocado and pico de gallo to jalapeño pepper and lettuce. Sometimes there is meat too. Often the tortillas are steamed and include rice, unlike California Burritos.

Pretty much every tourist relies on packaged ramen, but many lean into the Asian culture and add in cheap staples like tofu, spam, eggs, mushrooms, and Bok Choi from the local asian grocer.

Due to the large Vietnamese population in the Bay Area, pho is often a go-to for a large cheap meal with friends. At some places you can get a huge washtub-sized bowl of pho with loads of beef for $6. That can keep you full for 2 meals.

San Diegans love their brunch. But if you’re one of those people who needs food to function in the morning, a humble Clif Bar is a popular choice. They’re also one of the cheapest bars to buy, at about $1 a pop. With it being rush hour always in the Bay, many don’t have breakfast. Or, if they do it’s a mug of coffee so they don’t fall asleep on BART (Bay Area’s heavy rail) and wind up in downtown Berkeley.

It’s also cheaper to drink homemade coffee than to, you know, eat actual food. Fruit can be super cheap in SoCal and often the cheapest three are bananas, oranges, and apples. Although they might not be the most filling, a lot of people in Southern California are very into health and can be found snacking on fruit at least once a day.

There’s just a weird amount of people I know who eat and actually enjoy this. It’s cheap, calorific, and seriously flavorful, all of which help when you’re struggling to afford food. I’m not a fan, but hot Cheetos and cream cheese have a cult following in the north.

Nothing says SoCal quite like IN-and-Out Burger, specifically their animal-style fries and double-doubleburger are manna. They’ll probably tear a hole in your stomach if you’re lactose intolerant, but they’re so good that it’s honestly worth the pain.

As indicated by the Ramayana, during the fight between Rama and Ravana, Hanuman was sent to the Himalayas to bring back herbs to cure the injured Lakshmana, the sibling of Rama. The story proceeds to state that Hanuman lifted and carried one of the Himalayan mountains back to the nation, and dropped a huge lump of it on the Southern coast, which became Rumassala.

You can hike to this small mountain. Trek of the mountain and you can see the beautiful jungle beach.

4. Mouthwatering Cuisine in Sri Lanka

Delicious food is something else Sri Lanka is famous for. Sri Lankan cuisine is rice based. If you are able to find the right places, you will get to taste some best meals prepared with freshly ground spices found here. Also, if you love seafood, head to the Old Dutch Fort to taste varieties of them. Finally, top it off with a cup of world famous Ceylon tea.

You will also find vendors offering you different kinds of food along the streets. If you are a street food lover who loves munching snacks along with your trip, go ahead! When Sri Lankan’s say add milk to any gravy curry, they mean coconut milk. Most of Sri Lankan desserts and food involve coconut. The milk, the water or grated fresh coconut itself.

One of the best comfort foods is pol sambol which is just a raw mix of grated coconut, lime, salt and chilli powder.

5. Perfect beaches in Sri Lanka

The coastal area is even more interesting. Sri Lanka is a one of finest destination who loves spends time in sandy beaches. There are good beaches at the down south and eastern coast. Jungle beach is a one of hideaway beach located between galle and unawatuna. This beach is less crowded compare to unawatuna beach.

This sea shore is fundamentally exceptional for its area since it lies near the wilderness. The spotless and sandy sea shore gives an all-encompassing perspective on the city of Galle and an ideal spot to watch the sun rise and sun set. Recently jungle beach is famous due to Instagram photos.

Since the beach is quite decent and calm you can relax on the beach, swimming and snorkeling. If you’re from Colombo, you must come to the Unawatuna. From there you can reach to this place by tuk tuk. Its only takes 20 min reach to the beach. The best time to see the magnificence of the spot is between February to April when there is low humidity.

In any case, prefer not to visit Unawatuna in January as it is stuffed with numerous travelers from inside the nation, making it too swarmed for you to enjoy the spot. The reef and swimming start just 25-40 feet from the sea shore, straightforwardly in front. You can likewise swim around the stones on the two sides of the bay.

Waves regularly aren't sizable at Jungle Beach, yet consistently be aware of conditions. The reef at Jungle Beach is truly well dead. Sometimes you can discover apparatus to lease once there, however don't depend on the accessibility or quality; convey your own with you from Unawatuna. You'll still experience a lot of little marine life.

The Sunset Point, set apart by a sign headed straight toward Jungle Beach, offers obviously better evening views than those in Unawatuna. In the event that you intend to remain until dusk, you'll certainly require a torch light for the walk back. Start back well before everything gets dark or take a ride once back out and about; there will be transportation at intervals.

Permit a couple of moments in transit out for checking out the enormous Japanese Peace Pagoda found over the sea shore.

best things to do in Mykonos

Here are a few suggestions to keep you steered in the right direction.

1. Beaches in Mykonos

The Mykonos island is located in the center of the Cyclades archipelago, between the islands of Tinos, Delos, Siros and Naxos.

Next to romantic and quiet Santorini, wild and diverse Crete and Athens, Mykonos is one of the most visited stopovers by tourists who visit Greece and the Aegean Sea on a cruise trip. Mykonos island can be visited in a weekend. But the best thing is to combine it with Athens, Santorini and Crete, since the ferry connections are good and the flights are cheap.

Mykonos Island in Greece is a hotspot for gorgeous beaches, happening nightclubs and upscale shopping with trendy, even famous clientele.

Travel along Chora with its beautiful whitewashed houses and colorful doors and balconies, the labyrinthine streets, the seducer Little Venice district, the Kastro district with the remains of a castle and the famous mills, that adorn the soft hills of Mykonos and that give it that romantic look. And, of course, the mascot of the island is the pelican Petros, which you will find by the attractive old port of Mykonos town.

Do not miss the Church of Paraportiani, the oldest on the island, and the monasteries of Kastro and Panagia Tourliani, with typical architecture of the Cyclades. The beaches, many of them nudists, are as you can guess, another of the most visited places. Beaches such as Paranga, Agios Sotis, Platis Gialos, Paradise, Panormos or Platis Gialos, are known by lovers of afterhours and for those who want a beach holiday and party.

The beaches in Mykonos also offer other possibilities such as a good swim in those crystal clear waters reminiscent of the Caribbean, or snorkeling and diving, windsurfing on the windy beaches of the north. Another of the recommended destinations of this island of Greece is the archaeological site of Delos, to which several daily ships link. It is also possible to visit Siros, Tinos, Naxos and Paros, also very well connected.

2. Shopping in Mykonos

Shopping is another possibility on the island among things to do at Christmas. Thanks to the influx of tourists the island has boutiques of exclusive brands and shops of all kinds. In addition to the luxury stores, you can get indigenous handicrafts and hippie style necklaces and earrings.

3. Eating in Mykonos

Greek cuisine shows its richness and variety in Mykonos, from cheeses or yogurts to wines, highly recommended. In addition to its nightclubs and parties on the beaches, Mykonos has become a symbolic island of the rainbow movement.

4. Afternoon/Early Evening in Mykonos

Drinks in Mykonos can be expensive so if you have the option, go ahead and grab a bite to eat before you head out. The Bar at the Mykonos Theoxenia boutique hotel is a perfect choice for a more upscale dining experience and an excellent bottle of champagne, perfect for impressing that special someone.

Walking through the winding roads of a typical Cycladic town is an excellent way to spend the pre twilight hours. Check out the shops, selling everything from local handmade clothes and jewelry to boutique establishments like SohoSoho where celebrities are known to be found during summer outings.

5. Sunset in Mykonos

One of the best reasons to visit Mykonos is sunset. Every bar, club, and restaurant along the beach turn their attention to this spectacle each evening basking in the natural beauty of island living. It has been a long-known secret of locals that tourists have picked up on in the last fifty years.

If you can, find one of the many white beach chairs lined up along the coastline, order a cocktail and take it all in, it will be the perfect highlight of any trip. Caprice has been the most popular viewing destination for decades and for some makes a great place to spend the rest of the night.

6. Evening in Mykonos

After hours is arguably the best time to experience Mykonos nightlife and the vibrant and youthful culture. This is when the other side of this hidden gem comes to life. Greek culture is very open to alternative lifestyles and pretty much alternative anything. Its many techno and electronica nightspots are thriving energetic centers of energy.

Locals and tourists alike can party side by side with international celebrities. Top DJs frequently visit Astra and rock the scene until the early hours.

7. Nightlife in Mykonos

The nightclubs, discos and the party next to the beach and electronic music, are synonymous with winter in Mykonos. Not in vain has Mykonos been called the Ibiza of Greece. If you're planning on spending a night or a few it's best to be prepared for what you're going to experience and know exactly where to experience it at. Each of the clubs and bars in Mykonos has an individual specialty that caters to a different desire.

You can pick your favorite or try a little of them all for the ultimate till dawn (and beyond) experience. Where to party depends largely on what time of day it is. There are clubs that specialize in beachside music and sunbathed frivolity full of sexy toned bodies, sun-kissed skin and plenty of drinks to go around and clubs bars that cater to a calmer relaxed crowd taking in the scenery and relaxing by the beach and everything in between.

Paradise Club is a popular destination for the after-hours crowds. Open until 6 am you can go all night long if you want to. Paradise has DJs, pools and some of the best views on the island. With a rotation of themes and being one of the few all night clubs on the island, you can definitely find enough entertainment to keep you busy.

Once your night is over, feel free to get some rest and start all over again. This is the kind of place where you can keep going for as long as you want. There is no real end to the party scene on Mykonos, it's all up to you how much or how little you put into it. Want to visit Mykonos Island? Just buy an air ticket and go on vacation.

best places to visit in Cambodia

1. Preah Sihanouk

It is a port city and beach resort and is one of the top places to visit in Cambodia. It's another name is Kampong Som. You will love to see the sight of the white-sand beaches and tropical islands over here. Located on the Gulf of Thailand, Sihanoukville is a wonderful place to relax. If you are planning to visit Cambodia during your vacation time to relax yourselves then this is a must place to visit.

Better plan your trip as you might find a quite healthy rush over here during peak season.

2. Tonlé Sap

It is another wonderful place to visit for sure. It is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. The size of the lake expands and shrinks with the seasons. During the dry season, you will see very less water as the lake will have drained into the Mekong River at Phnom Penh.

During heavy rain, an enormous lake forms here. Many ethnic Vietnamese and Cham communities reside at the bank of this lake and many of them even reside in floating villages around the lake.

3. Preah Vihear

Want to go to the mountains in Cambodia? Then include this place in your itinerary list and you will be there. This Khmer temple is situated in the Dângrêk Mountains at the height of 525 meters. It is located on the border of Cambodia and Thailand.

It is believed that these temples were constructed during the reigns of the Khmer kings Suryavarman I and II and was dedicated to Shiva. Thailand and Cambodia are having a long-running dispute over this place and several soldiers were killed in a fight.

Cambodia's hidden archaeological park of Koh Ker has only really opened up to tourism over the last few years since being declared free of landmines. It's an absolute delight - temples that pre-date Anchor Wat and almost completely free of tourists. The grand finale is a pyramid style temple in the middle of the jungle!

This place was the capital of the Khmer empire earlier. When it was the capital, many spectacular buildings and sculptures were constructed. The Koh Ker site is dominated by the Prasat Thom, a 30-meter-high mountain temple rising above the plain and the surrounding forests.

Prasat Thom is a tall temple pyramid and it dominates this site. It is 98 feet tall and rises high above the surrounding jungle. You will see a giant Garuda over here which is carved in stone blocks. It is a half-bird and half-man creature.

Earlier, it was one of Cambodia's most remote temple destinations but now tourists can visit it due to demining and the opening of a new toll road.

4. Phnom Penh

One of the beautiful and wonderful architectures of Cambodia is this one. It looks simply astonishing and you will love your visit over here for sure. Your visit to this pagoda will be peaceful and relaxing due to the serene atmosphere here.

It is located in Phnom Penh within the Royal Palace compound. It has many Buddha statues and houses many national treasures. There is an idol of Buddha studded with 9584 diamonds. The golden and white color of the pagoda looks perfect! There is a detailed mural of the Ramayana myth painted on the internal wall of the pagoda which looks nice. It was painted by 40 Khmer artists.

5. Krong Kracheh

And if you're really looking to connect with local traditions, head to Kratié, a small market town that has quickly sprung into a place for travellers to find inns and cafés with Cambodian touches. Among places to see in Cambodia it is a small town. It has the beautiful Mekong River flowing through the town. There is a central marketplace that is surrounded by French colonial buildings.

This town doesn't have that much big large scale tourism but you will see rush during the peak season. If you want to see dolphins then Kratie is the best place to see. You will find plenty number of dolphins in the Mekong River. Watch a stunning blood-orange sunset, or even take a boat ride that gives you a chance to see a floating Vietnamese village.

6. Kirirom National Park

If you're a wildlife enthusiast, then take a chance be venturing into Kirirom National Park. It is a wonderful spot for peaceful treks, stunning alpine views, history enthusiasts - and also a great chance to taste some local, homemade cuisine.

7. Bokor Hill Station

This hill station was built by the French near Kampot. The main purpose of building this hill station was to remain free from the heat of Phnom Penh. This place has been abandoned two times. It was abandoned first when Japan invaded Cambodia and the second time when it was engulfed by the Khmer Rouge. It has eerie, ghost-town feel currently. You can see hiking tours arranged for this place by the local travel agents.

8. Krong Siem Reap

Cambodia has a spiritual atmosphere, thanks to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat temples. We can't prepare a list without visiting one of the best places in Cambodia. It is the most famous tourist attraction in this country. It means City Temple and is the largest of all Angkor temples. It is one of the biggest Indian temples all over the world.

It was built by King Suryavarman II. The temple's balance and composition, makes it one of the finest architectures in the world. It is also said to have been created by Vishwakarma. At the top is a linga, a gigantic cylinder of stone over four meters high and one to two meters in diameter, a phallic symbol representing Shiva.

The base for visiting the famous temples of Angkor Wat is the city of Siem Reap, which is 6 km away. Many say that with 1 day is enough, and I think it depends on how much you like this type of places. Besides, one can visit the Angkor Archaeological Park and Ta Prohm Temple. Standing in the architecture of the ancient temple at the Golden Temple Residence will provide a wonderful opportunity to see the sunrise. There is a USD 5 per night fare.

The Bayon Temple is one of the wonders that can be found in the Angkor Thom complex.

9. Siem Reap

There are many quality places to celebrate honeymoon in Siem Reap. Siem Reap is a quiet city, full of hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and agencies that sell tours. Accommodation in Siem Reap is very economical like in the rest of Cambodia, but it has an advantage. The price to quality ratio seemed much higher than the other cities we visited.

We stayed near the Siem Reap market, which had a bar on the terrace which was fine to rest after a day of walking temples like crazy. The cuisine of the young chefs at the restaurants in Siem Reap is quite enjoyable.

There are also things to do in Siem Reap besides Angkor Wat. Not far from Angkor Night Market is Pub Street and Psar Chaa Market. At night the most lively area is Pub Street, full of bars and restaurants. It will be the closest thing to the Khao San Road in Bangkok that you will find while traveling Cambodia.

Read drunken foreigners, beer at ridiculous prices, music that is intermingled between different places, lights and prostitution. Everything has to be said.

So, here were the top places to visit in Cambodia and tourist attractions that you must visit during your next trip to Cambodia. Plan your itinerary in such a way that you have enough time to visit these places and not in a rush! Plan your vacation spots in Cambodia properly and have lots of fun!

1. Backpack

When you're travelling to India, the first thing that you must take is a solid backpack. India has congested roads and the infrastructure is not so good, so travelling with a simple backpack would suffice as there will be many moments where traffic will be jammed and you might be required to travel by walking.

So if you're spending a long time in India, then a suitcase would be better but normally a backpack is enough to carry your stuff. You can add a locker or a protective seal to further protect your stuff. When you walk past the airport with your fancy suitcase, hard trolley, or branded backpacks, it looks truly wonderful. A wheel-equipped suitcase is easy to carry and also looks good to the eyes.

You certainly wouldn't want to carry a lot of luggage. In addition to that, you need to make sure that the shirt or trousers don't get wrinkles lying in the suitcase. You can avoid thick jackets if the thinner yet warmer blazers work fine. You can consider rolling your dresses, to make space for other essential things. Pack your things by yourself so that you know which items are kept at what side of your bag, to avoid messing it all up.

2. Credit Card

Credit cards are accepted at most places in India, and a vast majority of small towns have ATM's too. So, you can take out some money for your use whenever you need. Don't keep too much money in cash as it can attract unnecessary attention, and there might be a risk of theft.

3. Medication

India has all kinds of medicine available these days, but the names of medicines might end up confusing the tourists. So, take some necessary medicines with you for an illness that might occur during travels as you’ll visit a lot of tourist places in small towns, and in that case, having medicines with you can be handy.

4. Safe Clothing

Are you visiting a cold place or a much warmer region? What season prevails at your destination presently? Would you need your winter scarfs too? Is it required to take your swimming dress for the pool-party? All these questions would help you analyse your requirements for the place and likewise assist you in your planning.

It is also essential to consider the reason for your visit. If you are to attend a wedding ceremony, you will undoubtedly need to carry one of your best suits and brown leather formal shoes for men. In the case of women, a beautiful long dress with stilettos. Also, do a bit of research on the culture of the place so that you can blend in and enjoy even more with the locals.

You must take the necessary clothing with you when you're visiting India as most of the country has very hot weather, especially if you’re touring in the summer. Clothing that covers your arms and most of your body provides safety from the scorching heat of the sun as well as from heat waves.

A small pendant can make your sheath dress look amazingly beautiful. Likewise, if stylish bead bracelets for men are coupled with a casual white t-shirt and denim jeans, it would look cool and trendy. For a formal occasion, men could carry a set of ties and pocket squares to add to their classy appearance. Women have plenty of options right from rings, necklaces, anklets and what not!

5. All in One Pouch

For travelling anywhere in the world, a safety pouch is a must. You can take that pouch to India with you. That pouch will contain your passport, keys, money and all your other important belongings.

6. Indian Power Plug

Countries in North and South America run on 120v Voltage. So, they use different adapters as well as distinct sockets. So, you must bring yourself an Indian wall charging adapter as well to charge up your phone.

7. Stuff for Bathing

You have to bring in your shampoo, soap and other bathing stuff. There are many cases when people cannot use certain shampoos, and can only use the ones prescribed to them by dermatologists due to having some hair issues. So, in that case, make sure to bring your stuff.

8. Footwear

The most significant trouble comes up when you are deciding on your shoes. Always go for the most-comfortable footwear while in your journey or transit. You can go for loafers, which are incredibly comfortable along with being fashionable. Even sneakers of astounding designs have come up these days, which goes well on almost all the casual wears.

For your travelling purpose, or while in flight or train, you can go for flip-flops or flats. Unless you are going for hiking or a tough expedition, it is not recommended to take your heavy boots. There are two problems with them. The first, they occupy a lot of space. The second, they are not comfortable, and there are chances of sore toes. Also, look for shoes on your shelf, which can go with most of your dresses.

While visiting India, bring your some flip-flops would be good for a walk around the area you spend your time in. Having a pair of shoes is compulsory as well when travelling to different places in India. Meanwhile, the most important thing is carrying a confident smile on your face. Whatsoever place you will be going and in whatsoever dress, if you don’t walk confidently it will reflect an insecure personality in you. You must carry your confidence wherever you go.

9. Mosquito Repellent

India is known to be a place where mosquitoes are the reasons for a lot of diseases like malaria. So, it is good to carry a mosquito repellent with you during your journey in India. If someone becomes ill during traveling and is in a remote area at that time, then it might be difficult to give appropriate medical attention.

10. Ear Plugs

India is a very densely populated country. That means it has one of the worst traffic jams in the world. With more traffic, more noise is generated. One cannot sleep properly in a noisy environment, and with the issue of noisy traffic, it is obligatory to carry earplugs with you, which alleviate you from the rest of the world in your comfort zone.

11. Hand Wipes

There is a common stomach disease in India named Delhi Belly, which occurs due to food or water contamination. So, to avoid Diarrhea, you must keep a wet wipe with you, which is more effective than a hand sanitizer. If you do get affected by Diarrhea, your whole travel plan might go into jeopardy.

We tend to keep our minimal stuff while travelling. In such a case, it becomes increasingly challenging to decide what to keep and what not to. You might be tempted to keep all your favourite T-shirts, ripped jeans, bottle-green trousers, along with the black Suit. However, you just can't put everything inside your luggage.

It must be as per the climate of the place you are going. Also, you may have luxury accessories like cufflinks, ties, bracelets, etc. Are you going to take them all? Obviously, no! You need to mix-match with the dresses you are carrying and then decide on what you should bring. If you take care of these small tips, there’s nothing that can stop you from having the most stylish and comfortable travel experience of your life.
