The lake is situated 2 Km away from Ooty in lush greenery in the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu. There are various type of boat including motor boats, pedal boats, rowing boats and much more. If you're visiting there never forget to have this mesmerizing experience in Ooty.

2. Thread Garden


This place is the attraction of the tourists due to various varieties of artificial flowers and plants , which was made by skillful artist just by using threads. One can find thousands of different varieties of flowers and plants in this thread garden. The entry fee in this garden is Rs 30 for adults and Rs 15 for kids. The still camera charges are Rs 50 and video Camera charges are Rs 100.

3. Dolphin's Nose


This site is very popular. The name is so because here the rock is in a dolphin's nose shape and exactly look alike a dolphin nose. From this point, one can have a total look of Catherine Fall and also of the whole city. This rock will give such a scenic view and the view is just indescribable in words.

4. Kalhatti Falls


Located near about 2,000 meters above from the sea level and water falls from a height of 40 meters. This site is very much famous for picnic spots, watching birds and nature treks. 8. Coonoor


Like an electrocardiogram of the Earth, these valleys and mountains descend and rise in Kotagiri. It is impossible not to visit Coonoor, a mountain city located 19 kilometers from Ooty. By Train

The nearest railway station to Ooty is Mettupalayam. From this railway station Ooty is approximately 40 kilometer away. Taxis are very much easily available from this railway station to Ooty.

By Bus

Ooty is a very popular hill station of the Southern India. Millions of tourists visit this place every year. Due to this government bus as well as luxury buses are easily available for Ooty from everywhere.
